So...it's been a little over a year since we last updated this page.  Moria was being released at the time.  Now Mirkwood is upon us.

In addition to all of the new content and changes Mirkwood brings, we still have all of the old favorites going on the weekends.  Epic books.  Carn Dum/Urugarth for our level 50ish folks, particularly those needing parts for their class quests.  Moria instances for the radiance armour.  Other options exist as well.  Just say the word on the forums and we'll get it together. 
 
Nothing has been determined for this weekend yet, so feel free to make suggestions in the Adventurer's Hall.
 
We're planning on getting the main page news updates done a little more frequently.  I'm thinking June.  Or, you know, in a couple weeks.
This short and obviously belated update has been brought to you by Vanykrye.  I'd sign it "The Leadership Team", but it's not their fault.
Mines of Moria... November 19, 2008  
The Mines of Moria is here, live, and running as I type.  So far, we've seen a giant shard-dropping blue frog.  Something about that is just...wrong...

News and Announcements

Nothing much.  Just an expansion pack.  That's all.  Oh, and with it comes the return of many of our members.  Those who stuck around probably noticed a serious drop-off in activity over the last several months.  Well, that happens when people don't play as much, myself included.  However, with the return of players I expect to see a return of activity.  The officers are working on some new things right now, in between their own forays into Moria.  Remember, we like to play too.  :)


So take this brief update as the first sign of a return to normalcy.  Well, normal being a subjective term in this case.

Book 13 Patch 1 notes can be found here.  It should be getting updated on the normal Thursday maintenance.

On the Forum

Elentir is working on a project that may help us find people in similar areas to fellow with more easily.  Please leave him some feedback to help decide what would work best.

There are many players wanting to run several different quests/raids.  Please take a look at The Adventure's Hall and Here in the kinship area for more information.  Let's make things happen so everyone can get through the areas they need!

Andira celebrated her "21st" Birthday this last week!  You can still stop by and send your wishes.

Thea & Aeraendis are having their birthdays this week.  I think birthday spankings may be in order.

Granthir makes GM Prospector - This means if he digs a hole for himself, he might actually be able to get out of it too!
